講義題目：Energy and Environment: Let’s Face the Reality
【諏訪透氏のご経歴】
講師の諏訪透先生は、1985年埼玉大学大学院工学研究科機械工学科修士課程を修了し、
川崎重工業（株）に入社されました。
2007年Stevens Institute of Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering,USAにおいて
博士課程を修了（工学博士）され、2008年芝浦工業大学システム理工学部教授にご就任、
現在はMJIIT, Malaysiaの教授です。
ご専門は電子機器の冷却、太陽光発電および風力発電の最適化です。

Lecture’s theme: Energy and Environment: Let’s Face Reality
【Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tohru Suwa’s Backgrounds】
In the year 1985, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tohru Suwa received his Master in
Mechanical Engineering in Graduate School of Saitama University and entered
Kawasaki Heavy Industry (Corp.). Then, he further his studied in Doctorate
of Mechanical Engineer in Stevens Institute of Technology. He received his
PhD in year 2007 and entered Shibaura Institute of Technology as Associate
Professor. After that, he was employed as visiting professor in University
Selangor, Japanese Associate Degree Program, Malaysia. Currently, he worked
at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Malaysia
as visiting professor. Until now, he was majoring in cooling system for
electronic devices, but, his research will focused on solar-heat and wind
energy power plant from now on.
