【三牧純子氏のご経歴】
大学卒業後、国際協力機構(JICA)に入構。JICAメキシコ事務所に駐在していた1998年に、中米に多大なる被害をもたらしたハリケーンミッチに遭遇。この経験が途上国の防災に強い関心を抱く契機となった。以降、社会開発調査部や地球環境部等において防災分野等様々なプロジェクト等に従事。2014年2月より博士課程教育リーディングプログラム「ウェルビーイングin アジア実現のための女性リーダー育成プログラム」担当教員として名古屋大学国際開発研究科に特任准教授として出向中。京都大学大学院地球環境学舎博士課程修了。博士(地球環境学)。(http://www.jica.go.jp/topics/person/20120314_01.html)

[Brief Curriculum Vitae of the Guest Speaker]
Dr. Mimaki is a staff of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which is a government executing agency for bilateral cooperation. She started working at JICA after graduation. When she worked at JICA Mexico office, she personally witnessed the damage of Hurricane Mitch, which brought devastation in the Central American region in 1998. Because of that she decided to contribute to reduce disaster risks in developing countries from the perspective of social science from then on. She has engaged in a wide variety of projects including disaster risk management projects at the Department of Social Development Studies and Department of Global Environment, JICA Headquarters. Since February 2014, she has been assigned at the Graduate School of International Development, Nagoya University, as a faculty member in charge of a program for Leading Graduate Schools which aims at fostering women leaders and achieving well-being in Asia. She holds a Ph.D in Global Environment from Kyoto University Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies.
